St. Croix, Virgin Islands

Joshua went to St. Croix in the Virgin Islands for 4 days for part of his 2 weeks he does a year for the Air Force Reserve. He was there for tower climbing training. He had a great time seeing the island and also climbing the towers.

An old sugar cane mill that they used to use.

Looking out of the condo that they stayed in (so rough!!)

Looking up the 40 ft tower

Hanging off the 90 ft tower and loving it!!

What's wrong with this picture???? (hint: the island used to be owned by the British)

A New Nephew!!!!!

My sister Christy had a little boy last night at 8:40pm. His name is Levi Wayne Davidson. He was 7lbs, 13 oz, 21 inches long. I don't have any pictures yet (which is making me go crazy), but as soon as I do, I will post them so you all can see what a cutie he is. Josh & I now have 4 nieces and 2 nephews! It's such a wonderful thing to be an aunt (& for Josh to be an uncle!). Kylee and I are flying up there on May 30th, so I will have lots of time to shop between now and then!!

Reno Trip

Joshua was doing Air Force stuff for a week and a half in April, so my Mom and Dad flew Kylee & me out to Reno for two weeks. We had a great visit with family & friends.

My cousin Anna Maria & Kylee (my aunt, uncle, and cousin were down to visit from Oregon)

My Uncle Bill's dog named Sox and Kylee. They got along great.

Grandpa Wayne & Kylee taking a nap.

We saw my Grandpa & Grandma Wigholm for a couple of days in California. They have stairs inside and outside, so Kylee wanted to spend most of the time going up and down them.

We were also able to see Joshua's grandparents and some of his aunts and uncles. Kylee remembered the farm, because she and Josh had just been there a month before. She was excited to see his Grandpa Gill & Grandma Esther, the cows, his aunt & uncle, Delilah (their dog), and Pumpkin (their cat).

My Grandmother lives in Reno so we were able to spend some time with her, too.

California, Easter, & Etc.

The first pictures below are some that Joshua took when he and Kylee went out to Sacramento, CA to see his grandparents. His dad also went out at the same time. They had a lot of fun.

Kylee and Papa playing outside.

Kylee taking a picture of Grandpa Gill

Aunt Janice made a little play house for Kylee out of a box, which she loved.

Kylee, Pumpkin, & Aunt Janice. Pumpkin liked Kylee more this trip than at Christmas. Last time, Pumpkin kept hiding under a bed to get away from Kylee.

A bunch of us from church went to a Chris Tomlin Concert. Matt Redman was there, too.

Mandy Guidry & Me at the concert.

It was raining outside and Kylee was having fun playing in it. If you look close, you can see how wet she was getting!!

Kylee in her Easter dress after Church on Sunday morning. She was tired and the sun was in her eyes, so we didn't get a very good picture. Oh well.

Joshua's drill weekend was this weekend and then he has to go up to Wisconsin for a week, so my parents flew Kylee & me out to Reno while he is gone. We got here on Wednesday and are having a good time. Kylee loves having her Grandpa & Grandma at her beckon call!!

My Mommy Vacation!

I'm on mommy vacation. Those don't happen often, but they are very relaxing. Joshua and Kylee flew out to Sacramento, CA to visit his Grandpa Gil & Grandma Esther. Josh hasn't been able to see them very much in the past couple of years, so they are having a great trip. They left on Monday and I pick them up from the airport tomorrow. I have been working (unfortunately), getting stuff done around the house, shopping (I only bought a picture so far!), reading, etc. It's been great, but it will be really nice to see them tomorrow. One thing that I haven't done is to pick up toys!!!!! I really don't mind that though. As much fun as this week has been, I'd rather have toys all over the floor and it take 8 hours to do my 5 hours of work each day, then to not have my little girl in my life. (I'm not saying that I wouldn't like a week like this again sometime in the future.) :-)

Joshua says that he has taken some pictures, so I will try to post some this weekend or next week sometime.

Fun, Fun

While cleaning out some of my stuff the other day, I found a baby doll that I had when I was younger. Kylee loved it. She wanted to change her diaper, give her a bath, put pajamas on her, and rock her to sleep. She kept saying shhhhh to her.

Last week, we met up at the park with a Nikki (I used to work with her) and her little girl Keegan. Keegan and Kylee are only about a month apart. They had fun playing with each other.

We went to the outlet mall while we were in Biloxi this last weekend for Joshua's drill weekend. Kylee was very excited to ride this horsey!!

Kylee is always wanting her daddy's glasses, so I found some for her at the store yesterday. As you can tell, she loved them.

After getting out of the shower, Kylee loves to be wrapped up in her towel. She would stay that way if I let her. I don't trust her without a diaper on to let her lay like that too long! She just lays there with her little feet crossed.

A New Swing!

And yet again, it's been another month since I blogged last. Here are some pictures that I took this past month.

Kylee and Gracie playing the piano. She is a friend from church who is only 4 months older than her. They have a lot of fun together. I was watching Gracie and when it came time for their nap, I ended up putting them down together on our bed. They laid there and bounced on the bed while laying down and were giggling together. It cracked me up and gave me a little glimpse of future sleepovers! :-) They finally went to sleep. Yea!

Kylee found the wet wipes and was pretending like they were tissues.

Wow, Kylee can fit between my desk and the wall.

That look of delight is the "Yes, I got Mommy all wet".

Bubbles are more fun when they are all over your face.

Kylee was so excited after Joshua put up her swing on our front porch. She didn't want to get out of it. Yesterday was such a nice day that she was in shorts and a tee shirt (yes, it is February, but we do live in Louisiana!).

This morning, she wanted to swing again, so I took her outside and she fell asleep while swinging. It was very cute.
